Weekly Recap 5/12

Happy Mothers Day!!

I hope you all had a great week.  Mine was alright.  The weather is getting better, and that always puts me in a better mood.  I don’t know why people enjoy the cold.  Don’t get me wrong, I like it cold when I sleep, but that’s what AC is for.  I can appreciate cooler days when a hoody is necessary, but below 50 degrees isn’t fun!

I finished one of my two classes! Woohoo!! I got a 98%, so I was happy.  I was very nervous for this class, I hadn’t taken a math class in 8 years.  Three more sessions for my stats class and I have my Bachelors!!…

Weekly Recap 5/5

Happy Cinco De Mayo!!!

I can’t believe it’s May already! This year is going fast.  I hope everyone had a good week.  Any plans for tonight? I sure don’t.  It might just be another relaxing weekend.

I found out my manager was promoted and his last day will be the middle of May.  If you follow this blog then you probably already know that I am not thrilled about my line of work.  I am hoping to move on once I finish my degree at the end of this month.  My current manager has been great.  He lets me do my own thing, and as long as I am hitting my numbers he leaves me alone.  Most managers tend to micro manage in my field.  If that happens, I fear that I will go crazy.  Let’s hope for the best, and also hope that I can find a new job ASAP.

Have you ever had a manager that drove you crazy?…

Weekly Recap 4/28

Another busy week over! I don’t know about you, but I plan on some R&R this weekend.  I took an exam in Business Calc this past week, and have a mid-term in Statistics this coming week.  School has become quite a burden over the past couple weeks.  I finish at the end of May so I guess it’s ok, but I am ready for it to be over.

Weekly Recap 4/21

This weekly recap is going to be short and to the point.  I feel bad I havent been able to give this site the attention it deserves.  I am in the home stretch of school, and I have a lot of studying to do.  In the next few weeks, I have 2 exams and a final.  I am very excited to finish, but the last weeks are not going to be fun.

Work has been busy as well.  We have 6 new people who recently started.  Things tend to run slower when you need to do your job and teach, but that’s ok.

I am hoping to gather up some guest posts so that the next few weeks aren’t too bare here.  If anyone is interested, I would greatly appreciate you sending me an email with your guest post.  Just click the contact tab up top, and shoot me a message.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!…

Weekly Recap 4/14

I am happy it’s the weekend.  This week was a bit long.  One of my good friends of over 20 years lost his mom this week.  It was very unexpected, she was only in her late 50’s.  I have the honor of being a pall-bearer at her funeral.  It is going to be a tough day though.  I can only say that it helps knowing she’s in a better place with the Lord.

I hope everyone has a great week, and I hope I wasnt too much of a Debbie downer.
