Beating a Credit Card Lawsuit

If you’re in over your head with debt and you start having thoughts that you’d be better of just not paying you really should think again and reconsider. The fact is, the damage that it can do to your credit rating and the risk of being sued are high and the consequences long-lasting.

Better to weigh your options and consider some other solutions that will allow you to pay off the debt over a longer period of time or reduce the amount you owe but pay it off.  If it’s already too late for any of those options we have a few below that can help you to possibly beat a lawsuit that has already been filed and possibly save you thousands of dollars in court costs.…

Credit Cards Can Be Quite Useful When Budgeting

All your ever hear about credit cards is that they are dangerous and can lead to insurmountable debt!  Unfortunately, for far too many people this statement is more often than not true.  But if you are here at my personal finance blog reading this article than chances are you are looking for some tips to improve your finance situation.  My first tip is to not overspend on your credits cards, do not rack up finance charges, do not send in your payments late, and in general do not misuse your credit!  That being said, do use your credit card to your benefit, to budget better, and to maximize your rewards.…

Which Credit Card Is Right For Me?

Credit Cards – can be a good way to do your everyday spending.  If you lose your cash, it’s lost.  If you lose your credit card, you can call and cancel the card.  They will even refund any fraudulent charges that you may have incurred.  Credit cards will also give you rewards for your purchases.  These rewards range from cash or statement credits, gift cards, miles, or merchandise.  The best cards offer anywhere from 1-5% back for your purchases.  It is important to pay off your credit card every month so that you don’t have to pay interest.
